We have provided lead technical advice on a wide range of procurement routes including PPP and partnering and framework methodologies both in the UK and overseas.
Our technical advisory roles have in recent years most notably included delivering advice to the UK’s largest PFI health project for St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals, as well as other significant PFI projects such as those in Derby, Peterborough, Forth Valley in Scotland, and the National Plan for Radiation Oncology in Ireland. We have also provided health planning advice in support of the New South Glasgow Hospitals project, the largest hospital development undertaken in Scotland and we’ve supported PPP bids for the New Oakville Hospital, Ontario, the Kelowna Heart and Surgical Centre, British Columbia, Tayside Mental Health Projects, and the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in England.
We have extensive experience of working as supply chain members on all the UK health frameworks including ProCure 21 and ProCure 21+, Design for Life Wales and Frameworks Scotland. Our deep domain knowledge enables us to support clients in the delivery of a wide range of community, mental health and acute facilities including the major development at Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan in Ebbw Vale, reconfigured facilities at Cromer Community Hospital, the CAMHS Unit at Princess of Wales Hospital, and the Edinburgh Royal Hospital for Sick children.
Capita’s health planners have a successful record of working with clients on international projects and recent examples include private patient developments in Poland and Romania, clinical services strategy review for Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, a feasibility study for Ahmadi Hospital in Kuwait and Khalifa bin Al Zayed Neyahan Foundation Specialised Medical Centre, Morocco.
