Capita Consulting announces third key appointment to its Financial Services practice
Regeneration, Innovation & Integration – how local councils can learn from the World Cup
Andy Theedom, local government market director, Capita Consulting
At first glance the World Cup seems a million miles away from councils as they continue to seek transformation in an age of austerity. However, there are more similarities between them than you might think.
Capita Consulting has today announced the appointment of Andrew Reader as a Principal Consultant within the newly created Financial Services practice. This follows the appointments already announced of Tony Tarquini and Aden Lane.
The appointment will see Andrew working for clients within the Capita Group, as well as externally with financial services companies including banks, insurers and life and pensions companies.
Mr Reader, who joins Capita Consulting from IBM where he was a Managing Consultant, has worked in the industry for more than 13 years. The majority of his experience is in financial services, including many of the UK’s leading banks and insurance companies.
Commenting on the appointment, Tony Tarquini, Head of Financial Services at Capita Consulting, said: “This is an exciting time for Capita Consulting and our new Financial Services practice. Andrew’s is the third key appointment and represents a significant milestone in enabling the practice to achieve its ambitious targets.
“Leveraging the substantial existing expertise across the Capita Group, the Capita Consulting Financial Services practice will focus on delivering tangible business improvement and bringing rigour and consistency to change programmes.”
